I am currently a mid-year junior at Western Carolina University, and am greatly enjoying the freedom of college, however, because I have been somewhat of a workaholic since I began working at age sixteen and at the same time, my work hours have been cut, I am feeling that I need to fill my time with more positive activities than relaxing in my dorm room with my roommate and girlfriend. Here is the interesting part that most tutors would not reveal to you as a potential employer: I, myself at a younger age, have experienced times of trouble, trials, and tribulations. I have been around trouble-makers and mischievous types, so therefore I am comfortably able to talk to them on a level that, I believe, parents and other adults aren't able to. My extensive amount of patience also assists me in my endeavors of such. So, in summation, I do not have a problem advising troubled children and teens on more than just their academics, but also their social lives, goals, and aspirations.
